Technologically advanced, driven for performance and flawless reliability

The new Observe GSi-6 is Toyo’s latest addition to its winter lineup and replaces the popular and already performing Observe GSi-5. This new model has been designed to cope with the harshest winter conditions and provide drivers with irreproachable safety without compromising performance. Regarding safety, it meets the Three-Peaks Mountain and Snowflake certification (3PMSF) for severe snow conditions. Compared to its predecessor, the Observe GSi-6 features major improvements through the use of advanced tire technologies. The Observe GSi-6 is available in sizes ranging from 16 to 19 inches, with “H” and “V” speed ratings.

Engineered for performance

With the Observe GSi-6, Toyo focused on designing a tire that would provide drivers with the most reliable and highest-performing winter tire. Thanks to a series of integrated technologies, it features an all-new rubber compound of silica and high grip polymer, keeping it flexible at low temperatures while improving wet traction. It also features the Microbit technology, which further improves the tire’s ability to maintain an excellent grip on all slippery surfaces.

Outstanding all-conditions traction

The Toyo Observe GSi-6 was designed to withstand snow conditions and offer total reliability in all weather and road conditions. Frost, ice, slush and other harsh weather conditions, the Observe GSi-6 can safely handle them thanks to its exceptional capabilities. With the addition of center ribs and unique serrated designed digs, traction has been improved in deep snow or slush. Offset shoulder blocks provide greater traction, while the tapered shoulder wedge improves stability on wet roads. Consideration of snow and slush were important elements in its design. Large inner blocks and serrated edges add extra grip to the tire, and tapered evacuation grooves help move water and slush away from the center of the tire faster to prevent hydroplaning.

Great handling and driving comfort

Thanks to its directional tread pattern and staggered tread blocks, the Observe GSi-6 offers better traction and handling while improving ride comfort by reducing noise emissions. Braking, cornering or accelerating is easier and safer than the 3D sipes and high-density spiral edges, which provide better traction and enhance the tire’s performance on all roads. Although designed for high performance, the Observe GSi-6 remains an excellent choice for drivers who want to combine the experience of a technologically advanced tire with simple and enjoyable driving pleasure.
