Pirelli engineers used the latest high-performance all-season compound to mould a tire with an asymmetrical tread pattern.

The high-silica structure also includes polymer blends and resins developed for optimal performance. Wide outer shoulder blocks improve response and braking power on wet and dry roads, while rigid center blocks further enhance dry pavement grip.

The addition of special silica increases wet traction, while four large circular grooves help evacuate water to resist hydroplaning. Smaller, integrated tread blocks feature zigzag sipes to create the biting edges needed for traction in light snow conditions.

The Scorpion Zero All Season Plus internal construction includes two wide steel belts with spirally wound nylon reinforcement. The ability to vary the reinforcement's tension allows Pirelli engineers to adjust the balance between stiffness and maneuverability, and the two-layer polyester cover further enhances ride comfort.

The interior construction also incorporates Pirelli's Noise Cancellation System, which absorbs the tire's sound on the road and dramatically reduces noise to provide a quiet and comfortable ride.
