Description
Michelin's X-ICE NORTH 4 is a factory studded winter tire that incorporates new stud technology and an improved tread compound, perfectly designed to provide efficiency and safety on Canadian roads during the winter season.
- Excellent performance on snow and ice
- Impressive control and maximum grip during acceleration and braking
- The X-Ice North 4 has 250 studs per tire for better grip on ice
Replacing the Michelin X-Ice Xi3, the X-Ice North 4 (shortened to X-Ice Xi4) completes Michelin's range of winter innovations. Equipped with factory-fitted studs, the Xi4 is available in 30 sizes, ranging from 15 to 20 inches and with a speed index of T. It features new stud technology and improved tread pattern. It is designed to improve ice braking capabilities and handling while providing optimum driving and noise comfort.
Exceptional driving experience
Built to be a premium choice for harsh winters, the new Michelin X-Ice North 4 features a new improvement that will pleasantly surprise every driver. The tire features exceptional noise reduction traits for a studded tire thanks to the arrangement of its studs, located strategically on the tire computer-designed. Compared to its predecessor, the X-Ice Xi3, the X-Ice North 4 presents triangular studs instead of flat studs that provide a better grip on ice for better traction.
Stability and traction for every condition
Water and slush are evacuated more efficiently due to its new V-shaped tread that differs in length and width. In addition, thanks to the notched and interlocking sipes on the blocks, the Michelin X-Ice North 4 offers greater driving comfort and stability, with a better grip in all winter conditions.
Most reliable tread design
The Michelin X-Ice North 4 tread is one of the best performances in the market. It offers optimum flexibility and reliability in cold or moderate weather to suit all roads and conditions.
The French manufacturer Michelin has been known for decades for the quietness of its tires, and the studded version of the Michelin X-Ice North 4 is no exception. As soon as you reach 40 km/h, the X-Ice North is quieter than a non-studded winter tire, so it's by far the least noisy in the studded category.
