Description

Michelin's Agilis CrossClimate is a winter-rated all-season tire designed for light truck owners who need a durable tire that can stand up to heavy use, including heavy loads and harsh conditions.

  • A rugged, durable commercial truck tire
  • A tire that improves safety and fuel economy
  • Agilis CrossClimate provides exceptional wet braking

Agilis CrossClimate tires are specially developed for use under load to provide adequate traction in both wet and dry conditions, in addition to optimal performance thanks to SipeLock sipes that contribute to better traction without compromising tread block stability.

The Agilis CrossClimate carries the "three-peak mountain with a snowflake" designation, which certifies better traction in the harshest winter weather conditions.

The all-season compound of the Agilis CrossClimate tires offers two patterns. The first is symmetrical for LT-metric sizes. The second is directional for Euro-metric sizes of commercial vehicles. Both tread designs utilize Michelin's "StabiliBlok" technology, which offers broader and longer tread blocks to manage heat and withstand the high loads familiar with commercial vehicles.

CurbGard sidewall protectors help resist curb damage in tight urban environments. Deep side grooves and open shoulder slots evacuate water from the tread surface for hydroplaning resistance, while independent tread blocks and sipes combine for reassuring traction on light snow.

The internal construction of the Agilis CrossClimate is focused on durability in loaded conditions. A rugged two-ply polyester casing supports two heavy-duty steel belts (3 steel belts in sizes 235/65R16C and 225/75R16C).

While all-season tires with the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) symbol provide superior snow traction compared to all-season (M+S) tires without this symbol, they do not match the performance of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.
