Asymmetric tread pattern
The ILINK IL868 features an advanced asymmetric tread design. The outer section of the tire has a high-saturation pattern that ensures excellent handling, especially in tight winter turns. Meanwhile, the inner section includes wide grooves that maximize water and slush drainage, helping prevent hydroplaning or sideslip. This tread layout allows the tire to adapt effectively to varying pressure points, providing enhanced control in challenging winter conditions.

Zigzag longitudinal grooves
The zigzag longitudinal groove design on both sides of the tire generates a meshing effect with the snow surface, actively biting into snow for improved stability. This layout, combined with the optimized distribution of 3 to 4 wide longitudinal grooves, enables efficient evacuation of snow, mud, and water. As a result, the risk of skidding is significantly reduced. Additionally, the segmented continuous ribs further boost directional control and overall handling performance on snow-covered roads.

3D Zigzag Steel Sheet Technology and new silica compound
The ILINK IL868 incorporates 3D Zigzag Steel Sheet Technology, strategically distributing steel lamellas: high density on the inside for maximum traction and braking on icy and snowy roads, and lower density on the outside to maintain excellent handling. Complementing this, the tire uses a new silica-based formulation, which ensures that the rubber retains its viscoelastic properties even at extreme temperatures as low as -40°C. This enhances the contact area and friction between the tread and icy surfaces, resulting in safer and more stable driving in freezing, wet, and snowy conditions.
