We understand how important it is for your order to arrive safely and on time. That’s why PMCtire now offers its own Protection Plan, an optional coverage that helps safeguard your purchase against unforeseen issues during transit—like loss, damage, or theft— or after!

By opting into the Protection Plan at checkout, you gain additional peace of mind knowing your order is covered from the moment it leaves our warehouse until it arrives at your door.

What’s Covered?

PMCtire's Protection Plan includes support for:
Lost Packages: If your tracking number shows no movement or the item is deemed lost by the carrier.
Damaged Items: If your order arrives in poor condition or with visible shipping damage.
Stolen Deliveries: If your package is marked as delivered but you can’t locate it.
Recent Tire DOTs Assurance: We guarantee your tires are manufactured within the last 2 years—or we’ll replace them at no cost.*
Extended Road Hazard Protection: Your road hazard coverage is upgraded to 2 years on all tires, regardless of brand or promotion.*

We’ll work with you to resolve the issue quickly—either by sending a replacement or issuing a refund.

How It Works

  2. If an issue occurs, submit a claim through our Protection Plan Portal.
  3. Our team will review and resolve your case, typically within 1–3 business days.

At PMCtire, we stand behind every order we ship. Whether or not you choose to add Shipping Protection, we’re committed to making things right if something goes wrong. However, selecting the Protection Plan ensures your issue is resolved faster, more simply, and with less hassle—while adding exclusive protections not available otherwise.

Here’s how we handle each case:

🛡️ If You Have Shipping Protection

Damaged Items
• Send us photos showing the damage, and we’ll immediately ship a replacement or refund the full value—your choice.
• You keep the damaged wheel as a spare—no return required.

Lost Packages
• We’ll send replacement items right away.
• If the original package eventually arrives, it’s yours to keep.

Stolen Deliveries
• After a quick verification (no lengthy investigation), we’ll send a replacement if we have reasonable doubt the order was stolen.

Tire DOT Guarantee
• We guarantee the manufacture date (DOT) of your tires will be 2 years old maximum when you receive them.
• If any tires are older than that, we will take them back and send you fresher ones at no additional cost.
• If the same tire is no longer available when we receive the returned item, we’ll provide a partial refund based on the tire’s age at the time of purchase:

2+ years old: 20% refund 3+ years old: 25% refund 4+ years old: 30% refund 5+ years old: 40% refund

Extended Road Hazard Protection
• You get 2 full years of Road Hazard Protection on all tires in your order—regardless of brand, size or whether they're runflat or not.
• This includes repair or replacement if your tires are damaged by unexpected road hazards such as nails, potholes, sharp debris, or broken glass.

📦 If You Don’t Have Shipping Protection

Damaged Items
• Damaged wheels must be returned before we ship replacements, which can delay the process.
• Alternatively, we offer a partial refund of up to $50 per damaged wheel.

Lost Packages
• We’ll open a formal investigation with the carrier to track the shipment.
• This process may take several days or even weeks.
• If the package is deemed lost, we’ll send replacements and request return of any packages that later arrive.

Stolen Deliveries
• A formal investigation with the carrier will be required, including proof like surveillance footage.
• Once the carrier confirms the package was dropped off and is indeed stolen, we’ll ship a replacement.

Tire DOT
• Our standard DOT policy applies. For tires with a DOT older than 4 years, simply send us a photo of the DOTs and a photo of the tire as a whole. Our team will assess the situation and suggest the most appropriate option.

Road Hazard Protection
• Our free Road Hazard Protection lasts for 1 year and applies only to selected eligible tires.
• It includes repair or replacement for eligible brands, but is not extended to all tires by default.

Important Notes

Claims must be submitted within 14 days of the delivery date.
Lost packages must show no tracking activity for 7+ days.
Stolen packages require a delivery confirmation by the carrier and no safe place or mailbox pickup available.
Shipping Protection is non-refundable once your order ships.
