About Zmax ICEPIONEER 868

The Zmax ICEPIONEER 868 is a winter tire with an asymmetric tread designed for traction on snow and ice, stable handling and effective evacuation of water and slush.

• Asymmetric pattern: a dense outer tread zone supports handling, while wide inner grooves improve drainage and help prevent sideslip.
• Zigzag longitudinal grooves bite into and displace snow for better stability; depending on tread width, 3 or 4 wide circumferential grooves evacuate water, slush and snow.
• 3D zigzag sipes: high density on the inside for traction and braking on snow and ice, lower density on the outside to preserve handling.
• Silica compound formulated to stay flexible from -30 °C to -40 °C, increasing road contact and friction on ice.
• Rated for severe snow conditions (3PMSF symbol).
