A tread pattern designed for traction and grip

First, the rubber compound is specifically designed for winter and ice, and then its 3D interlocking shoulder sipes guarantee a secure grip and perfect stability when cornering. 

In addition, the Goodyear Ultragrip Ice WRT has a directional ‘‘tread to tread’’ contact design maximizing the impact on adherence by providing better slush and snow drainage, which in turn increases maneuverability and resistance to aquaplaning. 

The two-dimensional tread center rib sipes provide greater acceleration and braking force on snow and ice.
