The Discoverer S/T MAXX features the proven and reliable "Armor-Tek3®" 3-ply casing construction developed by Cooper engineers, combined with a new proprietary cut and chip resistant tread compound.

With this combination, it's modern 4- and 5-rib hybrid tread and unique features, the Discoverer S/T MAXX is a commercial-grade tire that performs well in the most challenging terrain while maintaining exceptional road traction, stability and low noise.

The blocks create the biting edges needed for wet traction, and the high-cavity pattern provides ample drainage away from the footprint for improved hydroplaning resistance. 

Discoverer S/T Maxx tires are molded to accept optional metal studs to improve traction on packed snow and ice.
