The new Avalanche RT features Snow Grip Technology, a low-temperature compound that, according to Hercules Tires, allows for excellent handling in all weather conditions.
In addition, a redesigned footing that provides 60% more sipes and sawtooth grooves to retain snow in the tread to provide improved snow traction.
Proven performance on the field
According to tests conducted by Hercules Tires, the Avalanche RT reduces the stopping distance of a vehicle by ten feet in the snow and seven feet on the ice, compared to its predecessor, the Avalanche X-Treme.

Was shopping around for tires, and finally settled for the Hercules Avalanche RT for my light pick up truck. The tires were cheaper through PMCtire than anywhere I could find online, and even cheaper than the local dealers were selling the tires for. The shipping was free on a set of tires. You can't beat the cheapest price for that specific tire and free shipping! I ordered my tires on Dec 3rd and got them at 9:00am on Dec 4th!!! That's faster than Amazon!!! Overall the best online shopping experience I've had.

Ordered the Hercules Snow Tires. They work very well as I tried them out in our first snowfall, very impressive!! PMC Tire had the best price on a set of 4 winter tires that I could find. Shipping was quick too. I recommend PMC Tire and will shop again.
