Description

The Blizzak WS90 from Bridgestone is a winter tire designed to be driven on icy and snowy roads ensuring stable acceleration and safe and efficient braking.

  • Bestseller year after year
  • Unmatched braking on snowy or icy roads
  • Outstanding maneuverability even under the most difficult conditions

Bridgestone engineers have designed the brand new Blizzak WS90 to offer the best driving performance in the toughest conditions. This winter tire for coupes, sedans and multi-segment vehicles provides drivers with the most reliable handling and maneuverability on snow and ice.

Even better on ice with Bridgestone patented Multi-Cell technology

Thanks to the new multicellular compound developed by Bridgestone, the WS90 further reduces braking distances by 15% compared to its predecessor, the WS80. The new Multi-Cell compound has a hydrophilic coating that draws water from the ice surfaces and maximizes tire stability for an optimal grip.

Face the whims of mother nature

By adding 15% more edges to its paved blocks than the previous generation, Bridgestone gives the WS90 greater handling and control over dry, wet or icy pavement.

The new tread compound and the greater ground contact surface give the WS90 an even better performance on icy surfaces.

The superior lateral grip of the Blizzak WS90 also contributes to tire stability on winding roads.

New design for better wear resistance

Bridgestone has increased the stiffness of its paver blocks by 30% over the previous generation (WS80). According to the manufacturer, this allows the WS90 to extend its life of one more winter season.

The WS90's optimized shape design ensures more uniform wear by proportionally distributing pressure across the tire's contact surface with the road for maximum stability and control in dry, wet, icy and snowy conditions.
