All-Season Tread Compound Technology: The Quatrac uses a specially formulated rubber compound designed to provide excellent grip throughout the year, regardless of weather. This technology balances flexibility needed for winter traction with toughness for dry and wet road performance. It meets the strict requirements of the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) symbol, ensuring safe use in severe snow conditions.
Directional V-shaped tread pattern: The Quatrac’s distinctive V-shaped tread combines large outer blocks that increase dry cornering stability with connected center elements that enhance steering precision. Wide open grooves efficiently evacuate water, greatly reducing the risk of hydroplaning. The tread also features two types of sipes—high-density siping and angled blocks—that provide confident control on wet roads and reliable traction on light snow.
Reinforced internal construction: To ensure durability, comfort, and safety at high speeds, the Quatrac incorporates twin steel belts to strengthen the casing. A single ply casing and additional reinforcement improve shock absorption and ride comfort.
