The Toyo Observe G3-ICE is a factory studded (for some sizes) winter tire for passenger cars, crossovers, light trucks and SUVs.

The Toyo Observe G3-ICE was designed to handle the challenges of winter. Its advanced directional tread design is ready for snowy or icy roads while providing superior ride comfort.

The Observe G3-ICE features several technological design advances such as “sawtooth” block edges and “multi-corrugated” sipes that provide more road bites throughout the winter. The V-shaped center rib with a horizontal slat improves water or slush evacuation while increasing stability at high speeds.

Optimized stud hole design offers stud retention and improved acoustic comfort.

Pieces of walnut shells incorporated into the compound improve braking efficiency and traction on packed snow and ice. Why walnut shells? In addition to being environmentally friendly, walnut particles are one of the hardest natural materials in the world.

A higher volume of silica and a better distribution of silica in the mix allows for increased flexibility when the temperature drops and improves wet and braking traction.
