About Continental TerrainContact A/T
The new Continental On & Off-Road tire... a real all-terrain tire!
Developed for the pickup, light truck, CUV and SUV drivers who want tires that combine comfort for the rides on pavement and traction for the ones off-road, the TractionPlus technology featured in the TerrainContact A/T offers that perfect balance. The pattern of the tread is open, improving the grip for all-terrain performances, and the flat contour shape combined with the strong tread shoulders increases the tread life and its resistance to uneven wear.
Tires designed to last
The manufacturer invested 3 years in development, 100 hours in computer simulation and over 1,500 tire tests on over 2,000,000 million miles... just to deliver that durable all-terrain tire, the first in its segment. With its +Silane compound that extends tread life and increases wet grip, its full-depth sipes that increase traction on dirt, gravel, grass and even snow (although it's not winter-approved by Transport Canada) plus its internal construction including two high-tensile steel belts with a spirally-wound polyamide reinforcement supported by a two-ply casing, the TerrainContact A/T is really built to last. To confirm this, Continental offers the Total Confidence Plan, which is a 3-year flat tire roadside assistance, a road hazard coverage for the first 12 months or 2/32” of the tire’s wear, a 72-month limited warranty, a 90,000-mile tread wear out coverage and a 60-day satisfaction trial.
And the TerrainContact A/T looks pretty aggressive, so the style isn't compromised!
