Bridgestone's Ecopia EP500 is an eco-friendly summer touring tire initially developed for drivers of the BMW i3 and i8 electric cars.

Ecopia EP500 tires are designed to offer significant improvements in rolling resistance over standard-size tires. 

This is the first road tire with Bridgestone's ologic technology, which combines a large tire diameter with a narrow tread to reduce friction and resistance. This is intended to improve vehicle range and help electric vehicle owners maintain a sporty ride.

Unfortunately, they are not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, snow or ice.

With its unique appearance, the Ecopia EP500 tire features a summer tread compound molded into an asymmetrical four-rib tread with a long contact patch that promotes dry and wet traction.
