The Dunlop Winter Sport M3 features a directional tread which has a high density siping, which ensures a very good traction in snow, better handling and increased stability when cornering, even at high speeds in difficult winter conditions. The deep tread siped sculpture also allows the SP Winter Sport M-3 to display reduced braking distances for driving with peace of mind on snowy, icy or wet roads. Furthermore, the tire has wide grooves which facilitate the evacuation of water and melted snow to increase the resistance to aquaplaning.
Driving comfort and better grip
The V-grooves in the shoulder blocks of the Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3 contribute to a reduction in road noise for a smoother drive. Also, a new silica compound ensures the SP Wintersport M3 greater low temperature flexibility for traction on dry pavement, wet or icy surfaces.
The Max Flange Shield protection system of the SP Winter Sport M / 3, meanwhile, features a rubber bead around the tire, over the edge of the rim, which creates a protective buffer zone against accidental carcass or rim damage.
